Jennifer Curtis is a native of Southern Maryland (Waldorf) and possesses a B.F.A. (Bachelors of Fine Arts) from Howard University. An eye for detail and a desire to create photography that is not only aesthetic, but involves the viewer on an emotional level as well, has led her to incorporate digital media into traditional photographic techniques. She has created collaboratively with her sister Sabrina Curtis, Curtis Visual Arts, LLC. It is dedicated to the promotion of art in all mediums.
Sabrina Curtis is a native of Southern Maryland (Waldorf) and possesses a degree in Fashion Merchandising obtained at Howard University. Multi-talented, Sabrina works in a variety of mediums, including photography and acting.
The abstractions displayed throughout this website were created through a harmonious marriage of traditional photography and digital media. It emotionally involves the viewer through the use of sensual organic lines, delicate composition and dramatic color. Inspired by the desire to step away from the norm while incorporating modern technology, artists Jennifer and Sabrina Curtis have taken photographs from being reproductions of that which is seen, to creating something which is only imagined.
